Poly(ethyl methacrylate) (PEMA) is dissolved in ethanol, known to be a non-solvent for PEMA, due the solubilizing ability of an added bile acid biosurfactant, lithocholic (LA). The avoid traditional toxic and carcinogenic solvents important fabrication composites biomedical applications. formation concentrated solutions high molecular weight PEMA key factor film deposition using dip coating method. films provide corrosion protection stainless steel. Composite are prepared, containing bioceramics, such as hydroxyapatite silica, LA facilitates dispersion silica suspensions deposition. Ibuprofen tetracycline used model drugs composite films. PEMA-nanocellulose successfully prepared microstructure composition investigated. conceptually new approach developed this investigation represents versatile strategy other applications, natural biosurfactants dispersing agents.
